PYRÉNIA syndicat mixte exercises all its missions as owner of the Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées airport and management of the adjacent industrial activity zone.

OWNER OF THE AIRPORT

PYRÉNIA syndicat mixte became owner of the Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées airport on 1 January 2007 by an agreement with the Minister responsible for civil aviation on 29 December 2006.

As a result,the Syndicat mixte handles all missions related to the management and development of the airport. The syndicat mixte has decided to delegate the airport operating until 31 January 2020 to the SNC Lavalin group which became EDEIS in 2016.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The syndicat ensures the control of any study,management, investment and promoting operation relating with its purpose.

AERONAUTICAL INDUSTRIAL CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT

PYRENIA coordinates the development (initiative, creation, space planning and management) of the industrial activity area which is adjoining the western Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées airport.

This industrial campus has become a centre of excellence in aeronautics and takes part in the economical development of the territory.
