Hydrogen, the energy of the future

During the 6th edition of the “Journées de l’Hydrogène dans les territoires, Occitanie” (Hydrogen Days, Occitanie) on September 26th and 27th,  the Occitanie region via its Regional Agency for Climate Energy (AREC) and Engie-Cofely officially created the SAS HYPORT. Among the structuring projects of the SAS (Simplified Joint Stock Company) is the implementation of decarbonated hydrogen production stations (using electrolysis technology) at Toulouse-Blagnac airport in 2019 and Tarbes-Lourdes airport in 2022.

The uses of hydrogen have been deployed in the fields of mobility (rail, road…and in the air in the near future) and of the industry (process, renewable energy storage…).
